Subject: Movement of military vehicle convoy
Be advised that on Saturday 3rd May 2025 between the hours of 1400 and 1700 a convoy of historic military vehicles will be travelling along the B4192.
The convoy will comprise approximately 30 to 40 WWII-era vehicles, including a working WWII Sherman tank and will form part of official commemorations marking Victory in Europe Day.
This movement is being conducted with the consent of local county authorities and in coordination with police and event marshals to insure public safety.
Residents and road users are requested to:
- Allow extra time journeys along the B4192 during this period between Aldbourne and Chilton Foliat (Littlecote House).
- Exercise caution near the convoy
- Enjoy the convoy and feel free to give a wave!
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we honour those who served during the Second World War and the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe.
